Sights and Places of Interest
Kammer Lake Castle near Attersee Lake was built around 300 BC and underwent several building procedures. The former part of the castle was built between 800 – 1400 AD and the castle’s new part from 1600 to 1900. Kammer Lake Castle is privately owned and was expensively renovated throughout the last years.

Gustav Mahler’s composing house
From 1893 to 1896 the Austrian composer Gustav Mahler lived at the Föttinger Inn and composed his 2nd and 3rd Symphony. In order to compose unhurriedly and calmly, the composing house was built near the lake. In 1983, the house was renovated true to original.
Sights in the city and the countryside
Being Mozart’s hometown, "Salzburg", is one of the most beautiful towns in the world offering sights such as Fortress Hohensalzburg, and water castle Hellbrunn. St.Wolfgang with its White Horse Inn, Bad Ischl the emperor Sissy’s town. Gmunden with its well-known TV castle, Hallstatt (world cultural heritage, salt mine) Dachstein ice caves, Postalm. These are the most interesting and exciting places of interest that can be easily visited.
